An interesting account of an early performance by the Borestiffers has appeared on Gary Alkivi's blog. The Borestiffers were an early vessel for Wavis O'Shave to display his creative wares. There's also a reference to the early days of Viz Comic which was also very much part of the Falling A story as we were one of it's early underground distributors.
My connection with the rather brilliant Wavis is rooted in the fact that we both originate from South Shields and a shred love of football.
We have worked together on a few projects over the years including the very rare Fictional Rage version of "Ballad Of The Pokeawillies" .
