Out today on Falling A Records is the Somebody Famous compilation "Normal People".
Sometime in the early 1980's, a demo tape (remember those) landed through my letterbox. On hearing it, I was inspired by the quality and message of the songs, loved Tim's voice and was struck by the well crafted musicianship.
A few weeks later we met in London and a collaborative journey was set in motion which has now spanned some 40 years. The first album in that journey was "Prisoners Of The Real World". Some of the songs on this album formed part of those early SF sessions. It's a remarkabkle anthology from a short period in time that was a spark that ignited a wonderfully rich body of work.
