The Two Headed Emperor made it onto a Spotify Christmas playlist curated by pshea69 ... no idea who he is but thank you for the attention. There's some cool tunes on the playlist. Too bad Christmas is over but it's a good one to get out and dust off next December.

 Marcin Lach is an excellent artist. He approached me initially in 2018 through Shapr and later we met at a performance by Amy Balog. He invited me to create the soundtrack to a film that he was working on. It had the tentative title of "The Spiral Staircase" (of course that is also the title of a cult movie from 1946). I made some tentative sketchpad recordings for atmospheric ideas, using mainly the EWI. We discussed it in some detail, had a couple of further exchanges, met again some months later at another performance by Amy and to date ... nothing.
As is often the case creatives get busy and distracted easily. Fortunately for the last 4 years I have managed to stay anchored within the Two Headed Emperor but Marcin's project has intrigued me. Maybe it's something for 2020. Perhaps the well known quote rings true ... "A work of art is never completed, it is merely abandoned" That said, myself and Peter have been talking about a soundtrack completely unrelated to this project. ArchiveThese pages represent my best attempt at a musical journal, travelogue, archive record of my musical landscape and everything I have been involved in over the years.
