July 31st will see the release of album #4 from The Two Headed Emperor. This album picks up where "Goldhanger Creek" left off and gives an occasional tip of the hat to everything that has gone before on the previous albums but once again the Two Headed Emperor will surprise with new twists and turns. It remains in the pastoral mood of it's predecessor but brings a fresh perspective.
The Goldhanger Creek sessions initially spawned enough material for a double album but as we continued to develop ideas and sound palettes it became obvious that a number of albums will spin off from this one project. Each will have their own unique identity.
The double soon became a triple and then the excess got the better of us so we decided to make it a trilogy of albums but as we take stock of all the developments and shaping of the projects at latest count, once this is out we still have three albums in development ... all spun off the "Goldhanger Creek" sessions.
Whatever you may be thinking do not expect more of the same.
