Wavis O'Shave is at it again. This time our favourite time traveler and hard man who last showed up in 2015, turning his hand to the hard art of magic, has now conjured up what he claims is the worlds first Palindrome song for the Miniatures 2020 album, as he emerges once again from the corridors of time.
For those who are unfamiliar with Wavis, perhaps his most notable moments have been a number of appearances on Channel 4's "The Tube" in the early 1980's as Foffo Spearjig, The Hard.
He has been described as variously as ‘The illegitimate love child of Spike Milligan’, ‘Alice Cooper with concussion’ and ‘Kraftwerk meets the Goons'...and that's just the beginning.
Myself and Wavis have a long standing affinity which in part is due to the fact that we both originate from South Shields. We have collaborated on a number of occasions over the years. He has a habit of showing up unexpectedly and then just as you are warming to him, he's gone in a flash!
We look forward to his appearance on Miniatures but don't expect him to stick around for social niceties.
