Five years ago on this day myself and Pete attended King Crimson's performance at Hackney Empire.
Our expectations were already high, but the performance exceeded those expectations, so much that it inspired a new chapter in our own musical journey...
What is even more amazing to us is that we will be sitting alongside some of our musical heroes, such as Robert Fripp, David Cross, David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) and many more on the forthcoming Miniatures 2020 album.
We never imagined that we might land here, in a cast of over 100 musical legends delivering the 40th anniversary of a project that inspired us so early on in our musical journey.
The thing about Miniatures is that I started out on the receiving end of an invitation to submit a track, I moved swiftly into being dragged in to help curate it and before I knew it, I was project managing the whole thing, It's a crazy story and I will write it up properly at a later date the other side of it being released.
Anyway, here goes ... what do we have in store for you in the closing months of 2020?
New Albums from ...
Bringers Of Change (October)
Two Headed Emperor (probably November)
Census Of Hallucinations (October)
Reissues
Barry Lamb (November / December)
Ermin Grud (Maybe ... )
Frenzid Melon (Maybe...)
Debut Album
Beloved Alice (Oct)
and then of course we are expecting Miniatures 2020 to be out in December
We are already beginning to map out 2021
