Miniatures 2020... here it comes

40 years ago, I walked into Parrot Records, Balkerne Passage, Colchester and purchased an album called "Miniatures" which was to have a profound and lasting impact on my musical landscape.

It is a complete honour and privilege to project manage, curate and contribute to the 40th anniversary tribute project which features a number of artists from the original release and many of my musical heroes.

Thanks must go to Big Al Davies for instigating the project, William Hayter for his excellent work in helping with the curation and sequencing, Chris Cutler for his help in bringing it to realization and of course Morgan Fisher for the original masterwork and it's much loved sequel. Not to mention everyone who contributed some really excellent tracks.

So ... coming soon 124 more miniature masterpieces.

These pages represent my best attempt at a musical journal, travelogue, archive record of my musical landscape and everything I have been involved in over the years. It features celebrated projects to undeveloped ideas, sketchpad moments, memories and general stuff that has been part of my creative endeavours and the Falling A Records story. I am attempting to place things in chronological order though as time passes and I trawl the crates in my loft, I am discovering that my record keeping has been quite vague at times. Please feel free to interact and correct where necessary. The page also serves as the archive page for the website and is where we post our various announcements etc.,
It's very much a work in progress.
