The cassette single was originally released in 1983 and actually appeared in the indie chart briefly. It was released with three different front covers and a rather iconic insane picnic pin badge was given away with initial copies.
We recorded tentative versions of both songs quite early on. If I recall correctly both of them featured earlier than all four tracks on the now legendary "Four days in April" e..p. They were strikingly different versions to the tracks that were actually released.
I will have to dig in the archives to see if i can find some of these as neither track appeared on the "This is the winter darkness" album and I can't find them anywhere on the internet.
According to a Record Collector magazine valuation it is worth the princely sum of £10.
