The Grand Hotel project was initially conceived as an idea (although unnamed at the time) at a Greta Aurora live performance about this time last year. It was really William Hayter's initiative to create a collaborative project. Myself William and Nick Haeffner thrashed out some ideas and promptly put it on a back burner until Miniatures 2020 began to happen. Myself and William delivered this track and Bad Word productions created this excellent video filming the excellent artistic work of Val Allen creating a painting of the hotel that inspired the name of the project. More about that at a later date.
William has been involved in many projects over the years not least the highly acclaimed Flaming Gnomes.
Nick Haeffner although not part of this recording, was part of the inaugural discussion and may well make an appearance at a later date. Nick was a member of The Tea Set and his solo album "The Great Indoors" (originally released on Bam Caruso) is a bit of a cult classic.
