Punching Holes is the solo vehicle for Brian Bond. Having been a writer, keyboard player, sometime guitarist and singer in Punishment of Luxury, off and on, since 1977, some songs have been written over the years that don’t totally fit within the Punilux style, if there is one. Punching Holes has therefore existed, off and on, in various forms since 1980 as an outlet for ‘solo’ ventures.
An album recorded in 1980-81, entitled "The Ghosts Of Pilgrim Street" was eventually released in 2020 to critical acclaim. Check out the trailer video. It's available from Burning Shed. This renewed interest led to the resurgence of the project and we are very happy to welcome Punching Holes to the Falling A family. This is a track from the forthcoming EP "Foolish Songs".
