Apparently we are #92 in some list or other in Sweden. Wavis claims it is the Swedish pop chart ... I seriously doubt it. It was accidentally released for a few hours yesterday but we have put it back under lock and key until the early hours of tomorrow morning which is the official release date.
Peter and I have been working with comic legend and fellow ex -South Shields resident Wavis since the heady days of "The Hard" on Channel 4's "The Tube" and his famous catchphrase "Felt Nowt" but this is his swansong ... an affectionate honouring of a David Bowie song in the form of parody and a serious statement of the state of affairs before he slips into the ether ...
It will be hard to "feel nowt" at this exit from stage, screen etc etc but join us as we shed a tear for the legendary Wavis O'Shave, aka Fiffo Spearjig, aka Mr Ordinary Powder, aka Mr Stary Oot aka the real Dr Who, aka Alice Cooper with concussion, aka the Goons meet Kraftwerk, aka Spike Milligan's secret love child ...etc etc etc
