REVIEW
Centre is the latest top quality album to be released on Falling A Records by The Bringers of Change, the brainchild of esteemed multi instrumentalist / songwriter / arranger / vocalist Mark Dunn. Although all of The Bringers of Change prior releases have been well received and highly valued by the discerning / underground demographic, this current collection of songs / ideas / performances certainly display a favourable forward motion as modern day issues and enigmas are considered and subsequently grappled with, making this album a very "now" statement.
A musically eclectic offering, all of the styles covered are totally appropriate for the resulting compositions (which are all lyrically relevant as well as individually idiosyncratic), providing a fusion of refreshing unpredictability weaved alongside a comforting familiarity.
The assorted guest musicians (Paddi / Kevin Heard / John Simms / Maxine Marten / Kirby / Yasuko) all make first class contributions which manifest as an underlying sense of enthusiasm for the 12 song project as a whole.
Expertly mixed by Mark and mastered with equal skill by Tim Jones, the trajectory of The Bringers of Change appears to be onward and upward so the time honoured advice to all would be listeners should be adhered to. In a nutshell, if we don't respond to The Bringers of Change they will march all over us.

Centre is the fifth album from Bringers of Change hosted by the Stone Premonitions Music Production House. The songs are all written, played, recorded and produced by Mark Dunn except for Satisfaction Guaranteed which is co-written and produced with the multi-talented Kevin Heard. The songs range far and wide looking at the troubles of
our time and the album title suggests our need to stay centred and balanced in the face of many changes and uncertainties – political, economic, environmental, psychological and existential. The album features contributions from John Simms on Guitar and Max Marten on Backing vocals; Paddi, arrangements, drums, brass and backing vocals; Lyrical ideas and art work from Mel Jefferson; guitars, keyboards and vocals from Kevin Heard; and Kirby on electric guitar. Thanks also to Nick Barbier for permission to use his photographs on the cover. Finally Unending gratitude to Tim Jones at Stone premonitions and Barry Lamb at Falling A records for their unstinting support and
encouragement of this project. Let us not f-f-fade away into silence.
