The Stone Premonitions archives are trawled again for some more Census Of Hallucinations gems to be repackaged, restored and recharged. This compilation delivers 16 outstanding tracks.
As always, well crafted songs mingle with spacey, psychedelic instrumental breakouts. The album offers a variety of atmospheres and moods. It is underpinned by brilliant musicianship and punctuated with tentative weirdness and spacey moments.
There's always a provocative message or something to preach about with CoH and this album as always, doesn't fall short on that front as they take on the general malaise of society with messages to stir the listeners worldview.
Overall an engaging and captivating listen.
Here's the press release from the band themselves...

Of The Cat consists of some of the band’s most interesting excursions into song and soundscape, all wrapped up in a psychedelic, progressive and not to mention humorous tin foil hat.
