Hot on the heels of the highly acclaimed archive discovery of "Chatter -H". Tim Jones' new album features some old songs revisited and reworked alongside some new material.
There are roots in 1980s pop-rock laced with psychedelic undertones. There are brooding, atmospheres, tentative weirdness with psych-folk and punk spacerock influences. Melodic moments interspersed with the darkness of descent into a dystopian abyss albeit laced with irony and edgy humour.
Tim's work with Census Of Hallucinations and the Rabbits Hat needs no introduction and whilst much of solo material has slipped a little below the radar this has to be one of the best underground albums we have heard so far this year. Outstanding songs as always, sublime musicianship that can cause you to drift into woozy bliss one minute and jolt your worldview the next.
