Bringers of Change is a new band featuring Tim Jones, Mark Dunn, Barry Mart, John Simms and Maxine Marten. You will be familiar with their work in various different projects if you know about Stone Premonitions and the associated artists.
We have known Tim since the early 1980's when we worked together to record the Somebody Famous e.p. "Prisoners of the real world" ...this return to Falling A is very apt as it features some incredible reworkings of two of the tracks from that e.p. which not only bring it up to date but reveal how much more relevant the songs are today. Bringers of change deliver excellent well crafted songs that are contemporary but incisive and edgy.
There are hints of Census of Hallucinations, the Rabbits Hat and perhaps even more so, the Body Full of Stars but this ushers the Stone Premonitions catalogue into a new era.
John Simms founder of the almost legendary Clear Blue Sky provides excellent guitar work and Mark Dunn's vocals are almost reminiscent of vintage Caravan.
This album is available in Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and the usual streaming services.
