The Rabbit’s Hat – Remixomatosis
Remixomatosis consists of some of the earliest recordings by The Rabbit’s Hat, lovingly restored and remastered from cassettes and Teac reel to reel sources at Stone Premonitions.
Written by Tim Jones and Terri-B with contributions from many friends at the time, some of these songs go back to as early as 1992. Many were recorded live with additions later on Tascam and Yamaha 4 and 8 track cassette home studios.
The main aspect of these recordings is that they capture the essence and atmosphere of what The Rabbit’s Hat were about in those early days and give many indications of what would follow over the next thirty or so years. Tim and Terri would go on to form the Stone Premonitions music collective in order to promote their musical output and the release of these recordings is long overdue.
It is thanks to Falling A Records that these songs are finally available in the digital domain. Many of the band’s best known songs are also featured in this set and are some of the earliest known recordings
