We would like to welcome Paradox One to the Falling A family and catalogue. We will in due course have some new material but we begin with a reissue of their seminal album "This Fragile Peace". Paradox One is the brainchild of Philip Jackson, aided by members of Clear Blue Sky and Census of Hallucinations. Phil desribes his 5 defining musical moments as... Seeing the Nice (as a boy!) Hearing 'Darkness 11/11' by Van Der Graaf Generator on Top Gear. Seeing Procol Harum live w/ Jethro Tull (& hearing Procol's first 4 albums!) Buying Egg's first album on impulse and seeing Dave Stewart, Mont Campbell and Clive Brooks perform live Hearing Camels' 'Never Let Go' and seeing them play live twice in a week when living in London The influences are evident and we are excited about what is in the pipeline... |
ArchiveThese pages represent my best attempt at a musical journal, travelogue, archive record of my musical landscape and everything I have been involved in over the years. It features celebrated projects to undeveloped ideas, sketchpad moments, memories and general stuff that has been part of my creative endeavours and the Falling A Records story. I am attempting to place things in chronological order though as time passes and I trawl the crates in my loft, I am discovering that my record keeping has been quite vague at times. Please feel free to interact and correct where necessary. The page also serves as the archive page for the website and is where we post our various announcements etc., Archives
