Coming soon on 62nd Gramophone is an album that honours the music of Kevin Ayers by William Hayter and the Small World Collective featuring some celebrated underground names.
There will be an album launch on the release date 19th September, 5pm at Biffi Art Gallery, Piacenza, Italy with further events in the UK at a later date.
I don't want to reveal anything for now but at least one thing is certain: the presentation of the world premiere of SINGING A SONG IN THE MORNING a fantastic tribute-album dedicated to the lamplight of the rock legend KEVIN AYERS. And it will be presented by the art director in person WILLIAM HAYTER who will arrive from London with ...many other surprises. There will also be London cult musicians who will perform and Francesoco Paladino's film DADAYAMA...will be shown.
